Russian farmers today are inclined to invest in the renovation and maintenance of previously purchased agricultural machinery rather than to buy completely new or used ones. This is demonstrated by the result of the analysis, which was conducted jointly by the Avito.Ru portal and AA-P (www.aa-p.ru). There is a clear tendency to increase the useful life of equipment: owners have begun to handle it more carefully, therefore, the need for agricultural spare parts and regular maintenance is increasing. Based on the data of the Avito website, this year the demand for spare parts has risen by an order of magnitude compared to last year, and the supply has increased 12 times. The top ten cities with the largest increase in demand for spare parts for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with a developed agricultural sector.

Based on the information received from the Pole.ru, there is an increase in the interest of agricultural producers in spare parts for agricultural machinery this year by an order of magnitude. Farmers currently prefer an efficient and, of course, safe way to order spare parts on websites. Here it becomes clear who is the manufacturer of spare parts, and at the same time, comprehensive support is provided, starting with the selection of goods and ending with the delivery of the purchase. In addition, leasing of agricultural machinery is relevant, the demand for it increases three to four times annually, especially taking into account state support.

Based on the information collected from the Avito.ru platform, at the beginning of 2023, more than 120000 offers for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in Russia were presented on this platform. Of this volume, about 117,000 ads concerned the sale of new spare parts. Extremely popular goods in the country during 2024 were bodies, booths, attachments, platforms, as well as components of hydraulic systems. The manager of the specialized department for the sale of spare parts on the Avito portal says that against the backdrop of the import substitution course, the agricultural sector is showing unrestrained growth and has indicated a constant need for equipment, machinery, specialists and components.

Earlier press releases from Rosspetsmash highlighted the decline in tractor production in the Russian Federation this year. According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture, during 2024, Russian agricultural producers reduced the level of orders for the main types of agricultural machinery. Experts believe that this trend will remain significant this year.
